COSMOPOLITANO

Cinematic Producer & Mixer

COSMOPOLITANO on SoundBetter

Experience the intersection of cinematic sounds and electronic power with a producer who prioritizes texture, vulnerability, and sonic depth.

Where Heritage Meets the Future.
Based in my professionally treated ETNABASS Studios in Barcelona, I offer a unique sonic signature rooted in the "Cosmopolitano" philosophy: art as testimony, sound as architecture. Whether you are looking for the delicate, intimate piano textures or the aggressive, rhythmic pulse of Moog-driven analog synthesis, I provide a tailor-made environment for your vision.

My Sonic Toolkit:
My workflow is built around a MacBook Pro M3 Max and a meticulously curated collection of hardware and software.

Analog Soul: Deep sound design using the Moog Messenger, Behringer Edge/Crave, and custom-processed Mark Bass electric bass with Micro Synth textures.

Cinematic Depth: Orchestration powered by industry-leading libraries (Metropolis Ark 1, Spitfire Solo Strings, Orchestral Tools) to create wide, emotional scores.

Precision Engineering: Critical monitoring via Neumann monitors and headphones ensures that every mix is balanced, translation-ready, and club/broadcast-worthy.

My Approach:
I don’t just "process" audio; I inhabit it. My goal is to find the "skin" of your track: the organic, tactile elements that make listeners feel something. From tracking vocals to final mastering with an analog-modeled workflow in my DAW, I ensure your music sounds unashamed and luminous,

Interview with COSMOPOLITANO

  1. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  2. A: That "Analog vs. Digital" is a war. In my studio, they are a team. The precision of Omnisphere 3 and Spitfire libraries combined with the unpredictable "ghosts" in my analog circuits is where the magic happens. It’s not about one or the other; it’s about how they talk to each other.

  3. Q: How would you describe your style?

  4. A: Luminous, Cinematic, and Unashamed. It’s a blend of 80s sophisticated pop sensibility, modern cinematic orchestration, and the raw, tactile grit of analog synthesis.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: Critical Listening and Texture Design. Thanks to my Neumann monitoring system and years of experience, I can identify exactly what a mix lacks, whether it's "analog air," low-end definition, or emotional resonance. I excel at finding that "sweet spot" where a song feels intimate yet expansive.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: I bring Architecture and Narrative. I don’t just add sounds; I build a structure where light and shadow coexist. Drawing from my COSMOPOLITANO manifesto, I treat every track as a "manuscript" where every curve of the frequency spectrum tells a story. I bring a queer, borderless perspective that values vulnerability as much as power.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: My "north star" is Ryuichi Sakamoto for his ability to blend silence, piano, and avant-garde electronics. I am also deeply influenced by the lush production of Tears For Fears and Genesis, the sonic precision of Donald Fagen, and the visionary textures of Vangelis. I strive to bring that same level of "sophisticated pop" and cinematic depth to every project.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: I specialize in Cinematic Production and Hybrid Mixing. Most of my clients come to me when they need their tracks to sound "larger than life", transitioning from a simple demo to a lush, wide, and emotionally charged sonic landscape. I often provide custom analog synth layers using my Moog hardware and create intricate orchestral arrangements that blend seamlessly with modern electronic elements.
