I'm a composer/arranger/mixer/session musician. I've played and engineered on grammy nominated recordings, such as John Legend's My Favorite Dream, and I would love to offer my skills to get your recordings as much attention as possible with top notch sound and soulful, professional performances.

I compose, play guitar, bass and keyboards and I produce and engineer. If you're a songwriter, I can take your song from raw ideas to a highly impactful production. If you're looking for a new composition, I have over 12 years of experience composing from prompts professionally as well. I play acoustic, electric, bass, and keyboards proficiently, and I use tube amps and microphones to give my sound the organic, natural advantage. Between those skills and my skills in making beats, I am highly proficient and comfortable in creating full sounding songs in the genres of pop, rock, folk, Americana and world music. I have production, engineering and/or performance credits on John Legend, Tiny Habits, Ora Cogan, Gail Ann Dorsey, Falsa, Maia Friedman, and Jukebox the Ghost albums, and many more! I've also scored films including HBO's Jagged and Netflix's take your pills as well as created hundreds of pieces of stock music for Premium Beat/Shutterstock music. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to do my best to create the most impact possible with any music a client brings to me.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is envisioning an exciting whole package for a song, and that can be brought to the table as a session musician or as an arranger, or as a mixing engineer.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my years of experience composing for shutterstock music and my lifelong passion for music, as well as my skills on my instruments, earned over 30 plus years of practice.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with a melody and maybe play chords along with it on the guitar or keyboards depending on what the song seems to call for, then I create a groove and build it from there with guitars, percussion, bass and keys until it's as exciting as I think it can be.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a Martin D28 and a Martin 000, I use a strat, Les Paul, Scofield or Reverend to achieve a wide variety of guitar sounds. I also have a few fender basses. I use real state of the art microphones and guitar amps to achieve that natural edge over the emulators. I have neve preamps and tube compressors in the rack.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love Bill Withers, Soundgarden, Queen, Yes, and Radiohead. I love the sound of records Brendan O'Brien produced in the 90s, warm and organic rock sounds.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I build tracks from the ground up with clients, maybe they'll have a song idea and I help realize it into a fully polished streaming ready product by playing guitar, bass, and keyboards, creating a beat, mixing and mastering.
