I have been producing and playing music for 10 years. My experience spans from live sound production to playing bass live in a Sublime cover band. I have played both guitar and drums in bands spanning from blues rock to heavy metal. I play piano, hand percussion, banjo and lap steel as well while hosting an ableton based recording studio.
My background is music is as follows:
I spent 5 years as the lead sound engineer at a 2,000 capacity theater in Wisconsin. In this time I assisted in building Pro Tools specific training sessions for training purposes as well as assisted in rigging, lighting and stage design. In this time I ran audio for nationally traveling acts including 1964: A Beatles Tribute and Gordon Lightfoot. I then worked for Rhino Staging as an audio technician 1 where I again worked nationally traveling acts like Journey and the Foo Fighters.
I have also been independently producing music for 10 years, played guitar for 13 and drums for 10. Samples below:
