I specialize in music production and vocal production. My credits include Diplo, David Kushner, Jessie Murph, Lauren Spencer Smith, Clinton Kane, Thomas Day, and J-pop phenoms SixTONES and SexyZone. I've also had major placements in television and film, as well as ads for Google, Apple and Indeed.com.
I was featured on studio.com as a producer and songwriter and recently participated in the SXSW Songs
camp, Daytripper Songs camp and the SOCAN Sync camp.
Current clients include: Alex Sampson, Landon Boyce (from Netflix’s “Making the Band”), Capri Everitt, Jake Clark, Juke Ross and
Zach Gordon.
If you're looking to work a song from the ground up, get those final, glossy touches on a track or take your vocals to the next level, please reach out! I've been doing this professionally for 15+ years and have broad experience over a wide range of genres. I've been in the rooms with all kinds and I know that my job is to make the artist happy and satisfied with the final product. I'm not the kind of producer that will tell you it's my way or the highway. I may have suggestions, but ultimately I'm not doing my job if I'm not getting things where the artist wants them to be. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Interview with Mischa Mandel
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Artist first.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Dominic Fike because I love everything he does. It's different but accessible and the records always sound incredible.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't get lost in the gear and plugin sauce. First get good at using the tools that are initially at your disposal and then slowly expand from there. Train your ears on good sonics, songs you enjoy listening to and think sound good. There is no replacement for taste.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop which to me basically means everything but Classical and Jazz
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Dominic Fike, Dijon, Mk.Gee, Quincy Jones, Pinkslip, Googly Eyes, Dan Nigro, Role Model, Otis Redding, James Brown, Damien Rice, Jack White, Ray LaMontagne.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do full service music production and songwriting for and with artists.
