I call it "The ZONE". When you're mixing and you're in the zone... it just feels like the world could crumble around you and you still won't realize.

I've been doing this professionally for 10 years and this has been my only job.

I enhance what's already there in the track, I help the client's realization of their tracks come to fruition.
What's your typical work process?
Speak to client, receive files from client, listen to rough mix or reference, start mixing, send mix1 to client, go back and forth with revisions until project is done.

Mac Pro, Avid HDX system, Pro Tools HD12, Antelope Pure2 master clock, Lynx Aurora converters, SSL AWS924 Delta console, KS Audio monitors, Yamaha NS-10's, Avantone Mixcubes, loads of outboard gear and plugins.
