Hi there, I'm a singer (and songwriter), with over a decades worth of recording with the likes of producer Jeff Ayeroff (Shangrilah Records), Shiva Baum (music festivals/producer), Herb Alpert (Tijuana Brass), Theodore Bikel (Fiddler on the Roof), Yuval Ron, Lou Adler and hundreds of professional working musicians based in Los Angeles.
My voice is mezzo-soprano. I have a wide range. Low to very high. My voice is also a bit huskier in lower octaves. The sound has often been compared to Natalie Merchant, with a penchant for high notes that can even grasp the power and melisma attributed to soul/pop/R and B singers like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston. Influences are mainly indie folk/pop: Ben Harper, Hope Sandoval, Tori Amos, and the list goes on. I can sing just about any style, though pop/soul/folk are areas my voice tends to gravitate towards.
