Having toured/recorded/collaborated with artists like Regina Spektor, Lauryn Hill, Yo-Yo Ma, John Zorn, Moby and countless others, I've gained a wide range of experience. I've appeared on well over a hundred albums and sound tracks. I play drum set and a wide array of hand percussion including frame drums of all kinds. I feel comfortable in lots of styles including: Rock, Pop, Brazilian, Jazz, Middle Eastern...
I am ready to record at my home studio and deliver tracks for your music. I take pride in my work and will make it as good as I possibly can.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My own tracks for TV licensing, mixing a free improv album, touring with Regina Spektor, recording on various albums.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I am old school but hey, if you make it sound good..... anything goes.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll do my very best to figure out what is best for you and your track.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music is magic. Who doesn't like magic?

A: Welcome surprises. You might know what you need but then again.... :-)

A: Been doing this for over 20 years.

A: Organic

A: Tom Waits, Beethoven Because they rock!!!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Find your place in the big picture. Don't be married to parts just because they work on their own.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything from Reggae, Singer/Songwriter to Balkan, Brazilian. Dirty rock to elegant strings....
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Wide range of styles, a good sense of the bigger picture, vast sound palette...
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My sound, creativity and experience. I've done lots of different things over the decades. I am very active in all sorts of musical worlds. I am very happy to help orchestrating/arranging my tracks very carefully. If you need lots of options and you want to decide later, I can be game for that as well. It all depends on the music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to your music, discuss some initial ideas/direction with you. If we seem to agree, I do my thing and let you hear a rough mix of what i did in the track. If you like it, you buy it. If i need to change some stuff, we talk about possibly adjusting my rate a little. We agree, I deliver. My goal is to make you happy.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Tons of percussion instrument and sound makers of all sorts. Several drum sets, snares, concert bass drums etc. A mix of high quality microphones etc.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: That is a long list.... let's talk in person....

A: Overdub various percussion, track drum set.
