I've got to write with/work alongside (or for) RIAA Gold, Billboard Top 2 producer of Chango Studios Cameron Mizell, Kris Crummet, Jeremy Tollas (Famous Last Words), Sean Neumann (This Romantic Tragedy), Jordan Blake (A Skylit Drive) and others. I provide same day turnaround time & revisions. My solo vocal work can be found under Chemical Youth.
I am a producer, singer-songwriter along the Red River region of Oklahoma and Texas. In addition to writing my own music for my project Chemical Youth and being a session singer-musician, I've learned my way around the studio writing toplines for artists all in and out of the US, with the quick turnaround of less than a day.
In production I'll take the raw beginning of an idea from my clients to vocally build a foundation that I believe can go from something as simple as a rough, yet catchy tune, to a rock hit with repetitive but undeniable quality for that "radio" replay ability sound. That chorus has to stick. From rock vocals, pop, metal, to a choir of harmony stacked madness, I would like to be a weapon of mass creation. I mainly offer my wide range vocals to artists who have no vocalist for use in their own bands, by sending my vocal stems or traveling to track but love helping other vocalists really find where they shine! “Vocal production, lyrics and melody" are where I belong. I strive to compress the final creation into what I feel to be its fullest sonic potential.
I have worked with RIAA Gold, Billboard Top 2 producer of Chango Studios Cameron Mizell, Jeremy Tollas (Famous Last Words), Sean Neumann (This Romantic Tragedy), Jordan Blake (A Skylit Drive) and others.
My solo vocal showcase work can be found on all streaming platforms under “Chemical Youth.”

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently being contracted out to multiple bands to track vocals and perform in upcoming Music Videos for promotional material. This year I have filmed in Tulsa OK, flown out to LA twice and will be in New York soon for two additional music video productions to perform the toplines I've written for the bands.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Generally whether the song I'm writing is for my clients vocalist or they are just using my vocal performance, I will take the bands MP3 they share with me for tracking purposes, do one playthrough of the instrumental, really focus on how the song is making me feel then instantly begin singing on whatever I feel is the biggest part of the song emotionally. I immediately hit record, sing a lyric off the top of my head, the first words I can fathom off of how the initial section captivates me and go from there. I will generally build the song in pieces. If I am most taken away by the chorus, I start tracking the song with the initial "money grab" or "main point of the story" section. This is the section that will bring the listener back home every time. Replayability, catchy, must be captivating. We must be honest. This can happen with a verse as well. Once I have intimately spent equal amounts of time per each section, I will deliver a reference track to my clients for approval before moving forward. This entire process usually only takes a few hours or less. I don't sit and write lyrics. I track my vocal sections off of quick, instantaneous emotion, which generally gives my clients a fast turnaround time while allowing me to be completely vulnerable and honest in the moment with my story telling for the vocal sections of the band. It's less time spent having to "write lyrics" that I may not mean anymore by the time the pen hits the paper. I'm completely about being in the actual moment intimately with the song, live tracking my first initial honest thoughts, then twisting in a rhyme or two on my ending words, obviously, for the listeners replay value and that "catchy variable."
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: There are so many tips that work for one yet not for another, for me, personally in creating it would be "If you have time to write it, you've already lost it." What does this mean? Some of the greatest songwriters of all time sat and wrote until they had created that "rock hit" that stands the test of time. Everyone's way will be different but this is mine.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Versatile. I have a high tenor range of vocal tracking that brings elements from Periphery and Sleeping With Sirens all the way down to Deftones for your typical lower/mid range vocalist styles.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: There is ZERO reason to pay someone $5 or $300 for a product and not leave with complete and honest satisfaction. That's in any business. I promise to deliver and work with my client until we leave the ring with something we are sonically proud of.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Melody, music and the art of networking to build a community of musicians I can be proud of.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q/A Q: "Do you do revisions?" A: Yes I do! Q: " How long until I receive the song with vocals added?" A: Same day! Usually within hours. I don't write "pen to paper" for days on a project. I track live upon emotional response while I'm skimming through your instrumental. Q: " Do you do refunds if I don't like the product?" A: I do not provide refunds upon final payment but I will work on your song until you are happy with it. No reason to pay for unsatisfactory in any business.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's all just for money due to my "quick turnaround" & that I'm "not putting in the effort" because my products are delivered quickly. I track off emotion and I provide revision privileges until we are happy. The final result will speak for itself upon delivery & I'm very flexible with prices. I try to work every client, no matter their financial situation is (within reason of couse)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: 1. What does your song speak to you? 2. What emotions did you feel writing this instrumental? 3. Who are your favorite vocalists?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just be open and honest. We can take the song vocally any route, I am flexible with pricing, ideas, genre, advice, I have multiple social media pages we can keep in contact on and talk until you feel completely comfortable. I'm an open book when it comes to music and work related inquiries.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been professionally writing songs with artists since 2021. I have been writing songs with artists and bands generally since 2011.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Heavy Rock, Metal and hardcore projects. I can work in any genre though.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal, Melodies, Harmony, Songwriting, Lyrics, Session Vocalist, Fill in vocalist, Topline and everything vocal I strive to be efficient in.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Over 15 years of songwriting into the final product. Honest live tracking my initial thoughts onto the piece instead of the traditional "pen to paper" style writing and a sonically mastered product we can both be proud of.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is very simple. My Digital Audio Workstation is Reaper. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen Audio Interface I work with. I go between my Lauten LA320 and Shure SM7B for delivering the right atmosphere in vocals I desire.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: While I mainly focus in writing vocals for heavier rock or metal projects, one of my biggest inspirations of all time is Josh Ramsay. He is a Canadian singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who leads the multi-platinum Juno-winning pop rock band Marianas Trench. He has one of the most versatile and unique ways of arranging vocals and harmony I have ever seen. I'm also heavily inspired by RIAA Gold, Billboard Top 2 producer of Chango Studios Cameron Mizell whom I've gotten to work with in the past. From Linkin Park, Asking Alexandria to angsty punk elements in Green Day, My Chemical Romance, my music inspirations vary from a wide range of musical genres. Classical, Pop, Hip-hop, there's not truly a select genre for me.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work in the music industry has been bands or home producers reaching out to me who have no vocalist for their projects. I will share a large discography of clients, or songs I have personally performed or written for and send over my vocal stems to the artist. The client is then able to use my vocals with exclusive rights per whatever deal we have negotiated. This all happens with same day turnaround time on my end. The only additional work days become if a client after a day or two may want a revision on a certain section - etc. I also help bands in and out of the US write catchy choruses, verses, sometimes just small sections or even lyric work/melodies for their singer to use with exclusive rights or royalty shares per whatever deal we have settled on.
