I want your audience to lean in and skip a heartbeat just as much as you do — that's the most fun part, isn't it? A scene like that will be remembered. I will hand-tailor the music to your story, whether you're aiming for laughter, tears, awe, or something transcendental. You film it, I score it - and together, we make it land.
For your film or video game, I will compose:
– Orchestral music
– Jazz band arrangements
– Rock / electric guitar-driven cues
– Ambient & transcendental soundscapes
– Solo instrument textures (e.g., piano, harp, strings)
– Write lyrics and a song around them to fit your story
→ All delivered in stems if needed.
Whether it's adventurous strings galloping, romantic violins, harps and oboes cradling the scene, or evil-lord brass shaking the floor, it’s all in my repertoire.
Maybe you want a jazz band backing your debonair spy, a noir detective haunted by saxophones, or a full-blast rock track for your fight sequence. Maybe you're after meditative space music… or a nostalgic town theme for your fantasy RPG.
I’m ready when you are.
About me
I’ve scored multiple short films: action-comedy, slice-of-life, romantic comedy and I’m very confident in crafting scenes that feel tense, relieving, or heartfelt.
Additionally, I compose for fantasy and video games, but I didn’t have the fortune to be part of a wonderful video game project yet. I’d love to, though, it’s an art form that I am deeply passionate about as well.

Interview with Alexander Androsov
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm proud of all of them, since I have composed music from scratch for every project I have worked on. I think, that a project is very difficult to "complete" especially 3/4 into the project. But I always commit and finish. It can be a struggle, but the commitment creates magical art, that you can't not be proud of. It’s usually when you rush, doubt, or lose faith in that final stretch that you end up with something you wish you had done differently.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Narrative driven musical stories.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't hesitate to reach out — dialogue is the essence of collaboration.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Tool box, food storage, a bed, notebook and something to write. I'd chisel my instruments out what would be on the island. Maybe even invent new sounds. Worst case, I'd write songs and sing them. The text would remain, left behind like relics.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started doing music videos when I was 15, studied film directing when I was in my 20s and composed soundtracks for short films. Now I'm here.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Alexander Androsov style. The pendulum goes from deep -> light-hearted -> punchy. Jokes aside, I have worked years on developing my own style, and today, well... my style, is my own style.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: One who is a co-creator and a friend. I don't issue pedestals. Why? Manifesting directed art like film and video games is an incredibly difficult collective effort that only co-creators who see eye-to-eye and are willing to build together can accomplish.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn to split feeling into emotion and thoughts, then bundle it back together through your instruments.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Film and video game music. Has to be narratively driven.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Translating narrative into music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Life and magic.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: → Semantic analysis of the story → Metaphorical attribution (assigning abstract emotion to musical form) → Modal & tonal choice → Instrumental translation (e.g. strings for longing, muted trumpet for loss) → Arrangement, mastering, and delivery Semantic and metaphorical analysis relates to years of my narrative design research, which can't be covered in one sentence, but it does create magic. It is exactly what allows me to get on the same page with your story quickly and translate your ideas and feelings into music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's like a small inventor workshop with musical instruments, a bunch of wires and a computer that records the magic.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: John Williams, John Powell, Dylan C. Jones, Nobuo Uematsu, Radwimps.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I hand-tailor music to their scenes, be it film, or video game.
