People have been around places for a long long time. Seasons come and seasons go. Orbits change. Universes expand and contract and settle down.

J. Alonzo has been around Fort Collins for a long long time…born and raised even. Choice City native, though he wouldn’t say it like that. He’d tell you it’s where he goes fishing. It’s where he earns an honest buck. It’s where he walks the sidewalks, orbits after orbits, universe into universe, settling down. It’s where he makes music.

Bands come and bands go and J. Alonzo has been in a good number of them. In those bands he’s called Jonathan. Or Big Doug. Or Jon.
J. Alonzo – tho – is the name reserved for the tunes culled from those orbits and universes he occupies. The rooms he sits in. The ponds he stares into. They come together on his first official solo release – Live Songs From The Radio – available now.
