My mission is to transform emotions into sound and create organic, honest, and truly living productions.

After a long musical career, in recent years I’ve discovered the world of music production — and it completely captivated me. Since then, I’ve been specializing in learning new techniques to translate into sound waves all the musical richness behind the music I create and the artists I’ve worked with. My philosophy is: less is more… but if more is better, why not? Always in service of the song and always striving to do the best we can. I’m based in Israel, but I can work remotely whenever needed.
My production philosophy is to ensure that both the artist and the song convey the strongest emotions possible. I believe that every production I’ve worked on has taught me something valuable and helps me improve the next one. I always push for recording sessions to be of the highest possible quality — both in performance and equipment. Choosing the right musicians is key to the final product.
Today I work both in my home studio and in a large professional studio, and I choose between the two depending on the scope of the project and the sound I want to achieve. As a mixing engineer, I aim to give each song internal coherence and help create the atmospheres and environments that bring it to life. It’s a process I don’t take lightly and, whenever possible, I don’t rush it. I like being detail-oriented (but not to the extreme).

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Basically, producing Mariachi Jerusalem has been the most fulfilling experience for me, as it is a unique and fascinating project that brings together two completely different cultures: Mariachi and Jewish. It’s practically about creating a new sound that doesn’t exist.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m working on the production of my second EP :)
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! (Depending on the song and the genre) :)
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Until you’re happy with the result, my work isn’t finished!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The whole process, from when the song exists as a fleeting thought in the mind to seeing it come to life! It’s like a pregnancy! I really enjoy the process.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most common question is "What do you think of the song?” My response is: “What do YOU think?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I think the biggest drawback in what I do is that I might not show all the details of my creative and technical process. Sometimes people don’t fully perceive how meticulous I am in production, pre-production, and mixing, nor the attention I give to the performance and the emotion of the song. I’m working on communicating all of this better so that clients can understand the value of what I offer.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is the goal with this song? Which audience would you like to reach? What message do you want to convey in the song? Who are your favorite artists?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Someone who knows or inquires more about the producer’s past artistic and personal experience.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: In music in general: 32 years! As a session musician: approximately 14 years, and in production and mixing: 4 productive years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I love the organic, and I use the virtual and synthetic to enhance the human and the real!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: With all those whose humility and good taste define them! Anyone who brings emotion to the process, dedication, good vibes, respect for the art, and humility! You are welcome!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take seriously having an excellent pre-production and the most optimal recording process possible! With these foundations, the song will have strong pillars to support the next steps in the chain all the way to mastering!

A: Mariachi, Orchestall, Ballad.

A: The listening :)

A: Personality, emotion, contrast

A: In production: I analyze the song and discuss with the artist the sound style, arrangements, and instrumentation we want for the track. In mixing: I focus on recording in the best possible way and truly enjoy the mixing process!
