Endorse Chey VelasquezGran ser humano, humilde, muy profesional y muy creativo. Mi más grande admiración. Se los recomiendo a todos 💯
(...) By far, his creativity, his versatility around different musical genres, and his crafting of colorful sounds, are just some of a few attributes (between many many more) and signatures of the “Chey style”, within the studio and embodied in the music records. Big up, shout outs, and wishing a long-winded career for the amazing Chey!!! Salut!!!
Hi, all. Let me tell you something: As a long-time career music producer and audio engineer, i could assure you—and recommend by any means— that Chey Velasquez is one of the best guitar player, songwriter, musician and artist which i’ve had the opportunity to work with. In a professional environment is really a pretty “helpful hand” in the studio context, which is something that you are looking for when you work with session and studio musicians such as Chey. (...)
Chey was recommended to me by a good friend. I was looking for a guitar player that could specifically record a groove over a merengue track that I recorded. When we got in touch Chey was clearly knowledgeable of the style and proposed a few different approached with both electric and electro-acoustic guitar. Both were clean, groovin' and musical. I ended up asking for an approach that would resemble the Juan Luis Guerra sounds and he went and laid down an amazing track in a soukus type style. I loved it right away and I didn't even need to ask him for any changes of corrections. He killed it!
I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with Chey many times. He’s an extremely versatile player and easy to work with. He always brings my music to a whole other level with his performance. Be sure to hire him, I’m sure he’ll elevate your music with his playing and you’ll be very happy.
Chey Velasquez is a great artist, composer and session musician, I have had the opportunity to work with him
