  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: LDRDO's Debut album 'On The Road'. It's a concept album inspired by the book and my travels across the US. I did all the songwriting, producing, instrumentation 'mixing and mastering.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Workin On LDRDO sophomore album. Several collaborations projects.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I need to get more familiar with some of the other professionals here before I answer that. I'm sure there is a ton of talent.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  8. A: That it seems so easy to do it.

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: Acoustic guitar

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: I started 15 years ago in my bedroom, recording ideas for my own songs and my friends. Over time I was lucky to learn from some of the best in my community about work ethics, professionalism, and technical skills.

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: Brittany Howard, Michael Kiwanuka, Jungle, many more! Really dig their songs and production style.

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: Indie, anything soulful, Rock, Psychedelic.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: Writing melodies and memorable top lines.

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: Both. Digital is easier to recall, analog is great if you're ready to commit to the sound.

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: Come as prepared as you can to the session. Knowing what you want removes a lot of doubts and clutter from the creative process. Also communication is a major key for success of the project.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: A unique blend of eastern soul and western style.

  25. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  26. A: Mix in Mono, switch to stereo after you did most of the tonal shape and coloring of the tracks.

  27. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  28. A: For recording I have several mics and mic preamps to choose from. for mixing I mostly mix ITB, akthough sometimes I will run some stems through some outboard gear if I feel the track needs it.

  29. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  30. A: So many, hard to choose.

  31. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  32. A: I bring a unique blend of organic instrumentation and modern production, enhancing a song’s depth, emotion, and energy. Whether through dynamic arrangements, soulful guitar work, or polished mixing, I elevate the track while staying true to the artist’s vision.Have a strong sense of melody and easy for me to come up with a strong catchy melody.

  33. Q: What's your typical work process?

  34. A: My process starts with understanding your vision and message of the song. For production, I usually start with the arrangement and instrumentation.

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: I primarily produce, mix, and master tracks, helping artists refine their sound. I also provide session guitar recordings, blending organic instrumentation with modern production for a unique touch.
