I am a composer in the genre of classical music and world music. I have been working as a professional arranger, composer, and orchestrator since 2012.
Sina Moradpour (born 16 November 1989, Sanandaj, Iran) is an Iranian composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, as well as a musicologist specializing in Maqam / modal music, Kurdish music, and Iranian classical music.
Sina began his musical education at the Kamkar Music School (Honarestan-e Kamkar) in Sanandaj, playing several instruments from the age of eleven, and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Music from Tehran University of Music, studying under Hooshang Kamkar and Houshang Zarif. He was drawn to Kurdish rhythms from a young age and later studied under renowned masters of Persian classical and oriental music.
In 2021, he released an album with The Kamkars as composer and performer. He has also collaborated with artists including Arsalan Kamkar, Ardeshir Kamkar, Agirê Jiyan, and Koma Amed. He now focuses on world music.
