I’m Jorge Pelloux (P.LÚ). I’m a Mexican-French multi instrumentalist composer and producer, I’ve been working in the music industry as a profesional since 2016, from independent artists to major label artists from every part of the world. Mexican music such as corridos tumbados to Arab hyperpop music. I’ve also worked as music director for live performances, tours and live sessions, my main strength is my versatility, I can do basically any genre and propose something on it.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My 2 artists projects, 25 music projects and a house with electric bass album

A: Both, there’s different benefits you can have from both, I think it depend more on the situation, there’s moments where you just have digital o moments when you have both, do the best you can with what you have, always

A: Everything I touch is going to be great

A: Is the most beautiful thing on earth I’ve ever done, this is the only thing that makes me feel connected to something bigger than me

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That producing is not doing magic, there’s a process, in most cases if the process is good then the result is good.

A: Just to know what you want, as a producer I can do whatever you want but the main idea comes from your mind

A: SSL2+ 4k. Max book pro. Neumann Tlm103. My Fender Strat and a midi keyboard
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve working as a musician for 15 years, as a profesional producer for 7 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is pretty based on soul music, but as a Latin I always put some “exotic” sauce on it.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Daniel Ceasar, Hiatus Kayote, Tom Misch or Kiefer, I just love their music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Let your gain staging give you the sound, remember tha dBs are energy, if you want a powerfull punch then let the faders work, don’t work with 3 dBs dynamic ranges, make them bigger.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly RnB, pop, hyperpop and house music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I make everything sound amazing, any genre, any song, any artist.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My main it’s the beat switching and a mix of a lot of genres in one song

A: I’ll adapt to any of my clients needs

If the budget is ideal there’s no revision number allow cause we’re making art, if the budget is low I can do 3 revisions. I often spend 2 weeks on finishing tracks, sometimes less
