Jan Gandi is a producer and engineer based in Berlin.

After deciding to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Music Production, he established himself as a freelance bassist and producer while still studying. Influenced by U.S. engineers like Russel Elevado and Tom Elmhirst, he quickly discovered his passion and enthusiasm for studio engineering. During this period, Jan mixed and mastered his first tracks for artists such as Dominik Hartz, Zartmann, and Aaron, before evolving over the years into a multi-genre engineer.

Today, with over 100 million streams to his name, his work includes collaborations with artists like frytz, BRUCKNER, Dani Lia, SOFFIE, Eli Preiss, Aria, and Eli Riccardi. Teaming up with Eli Riccardi, he even secured a track featured in the worldwide No. 1 Amazon Prime series “Maxton Hall,” which he co-produced with the artist.

Jan is equally comfortable working on organic, handcrafted music as he is in the bold and punchy world of pop. At the same time, genres such as Pop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Indie-Pop, Indie-Rock, and Surf-Rock are all areas in which he thrives as a producer and engineer.

Since becoming self-employed, Jan has been working at the Reichenberger Studios in Kreuzberg, serving top-tier artists and labels with his production and engineering expertise.
