Karl is a consistently great client. He's attentive to detail, but very flexible about how I get to deal with his material and supportive about trying different ideas. He's also been very patient with me with some recent technical issues I've had, and I really appreciate continuing to work with him despite that. Very much deserving of his five stars. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Tyler Spratt. Great guy and he definitely can mix!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Too many to name
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I can I try to do it in one sitting. Just blaze through so I don't lose my thoughts. I give it a chance to breathe then check it later for refinements.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Too many keyboards. But I could always use one more, haha
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I had a lot of Jazz influences growing up. I enjoyed Quincy Jones. Today I try to explore more pop producers to get a feel of their sound. I like Rich Harrison's work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Add keys to their tracks. People like piano or organ.
