Interview with Eddy Fusion
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working as an independent musician, focusing on creating unique and heartfelt music projects.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My work will always bring you unexpected surprises.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The question clients ask me most often is: am I single?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My suggestion... please take the time to clearly decide what you want before providing requirements. Rushing in without a clear vision might lead to a final piece that doesn’t meet your expectations.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I’d probably choose to bring a solar charger, my laptop, a MIDI keyboard, an audio interface, and… a beautiful woman. Hahaha…
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been in music production for about 13 years. Although I’m not famous, I’ll never give up on this passion.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I feel that as long as other artists want to collaborate, I’d be more than happy to work with them. Anyone who loves music is already a good friend of mine.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: As for my technique, I prefer to start by planning—thinking it through before getting hands-on. Sometimes I’ll sit by the window, drinking coffee all day, with ideas constantly flashing through my mind until I find the direction that feels just right.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My personal favorite music style is still chill, but I’m skilled at creating a wide range of genres—whether it’s rock, heavy metal, pop, punk, new wave, EDM… basically, whatever kind of music you want, I can deliver.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I don’t think I have any ultimate skill; I only know that every piece I create is crafted with care, and every note is like a loved one to me.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe I can bring soul to a piece of music, making it resonate deeply with the human heart. My music is like a timeless life, like a perfect woman who remains forever young, always with smooth skin, eternally beloved.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As long as the client can provide specific requirements, I’ll do my best to fulfill them—even if the ideas are unusual. My process is as follows: effective communication → start production → receive feedback → (if the client is not satisfied) make revisions → completion.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My musical inspirations span centuries, but a few Romantic-era giants stand out. Tchaikovsky taught me that melody can reach straight to the heart—no one does emotional drama quite like him. Schumann, on the other hand, showed me that music can be a window into the soul (and sometimes, a very intense one). And then there's Brahms, who somehow combines complex structures with this warm, comforting depth—like a musical hug that’s also a bit complicated. If I can blend even a fraction of Tchaikovsky’s passion, Schumann’s poetry, and Brahms’s depth, I'll feel like I’m onto something great!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
