Commercial pop/EDM producer and songwriter with multiple composition and production credits over the years. I have also mixed many different genres for both commercial major label artists as well as artists on independent labels.
I can compose songs in genres such as commercial pop, EDM, indie rock and many other more specific genres such as reggaeton, hip-hop and metal. I can and have produced songs in almost any style, given high quality recordings i can also mix and master a commercial level track that would not look out of place alongside established major artists. I have 15 years experience in the business and welcome creating with artists new and old. It doesn't matter what the project is, if its creative and new I will enjoy the challenge and help an artist achieve their goal.

Interview with Lee Adams
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: For the 'Nemesis' project I wrote, produced, mixed and mastered the songs. I then taught each of the new band members each part and acted as as musical director to create a band that toured the UK
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Producing my portfolio of songs I worked on at university for my MA
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both have their good and bad points, but digital is much more efficient.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Each song will at least sound great as a record, if I don't think it will, I will not work on the song
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Working with extremely talented songwriters/creators
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much will it cost? It depends on what you want me to do and how long it will take.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think that a commercial level production can be made straight away, it takes building blocks to make this, make each level great then the next level can be great. Composition > arrangement> recording>production<mix>master
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How much work has already been done and how far do you want this project to go?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Get your project ready in your mind, have a plan with deadlines and direction
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic guitar, SM57, my laptop and my interface. I could then record anything I want as a demo
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 15 years I got a bachelors degree and embarked on a full career before deciding to represent my country in the armed forces. After 5 years at sea I decided to come back with a bigger and better studio setup and come back into the music industry, getting Masters degree before restarting my business
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Catchy and intense
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make the song amazing, then the building the production is easy
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: EDM, pop and various dance genres
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Arrangements - decisions on instrumentation are the most crucial element of a production
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Talent and instinct to decide what needs to happen to make it catchy and interesting
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Composition until its perfect as a demo, then decide on arrangements, record and produce the instrumentation, then after reviews and changes, mix. After further reviews mix until perfect then master.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have Neuman KH 120 Monitors, a selection of microphones including AKG C414, Neumann TLM 103 and the trusty SM57
