Matt worked for almost 20 years as a staff engineer in the Manhattan School of Music Recording Studio, where he recorded, mixed and edited hundreds of jazz sessions and concerts. He has done mixing, mastering and editing for many jazz artists including Dave Liebman, Kenny Shanker, Roland Barber, Kim Thompson, Steve Kortyka, Coalescence, The Verge and many others.
As a performer, he has recorded with Charlie Hunter, Ingrid Jensen, Tim Collins, Ryan Meagher, Shane Endsley, Vinnie Sperrazza, Jacob Sacks, Aaron Parks and many more.
Matt is currently the Director of the Music Technology & Recording Arts program at Cabrillo College, and has taught at the Manhattan School of Music, Five Towns College and the University of Valley Forge.
He also has composed and produced music heard on over 100 TV shows, commercials and games, including a theme for a major network new program, custom scores for shows on Nickelodeon and Bravo.
