Saxophonist and Clarinetist

Experienced woodwinds session musician. Proficient on tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones, as well as Bb Clarinet.

I'm an NYC based multi-instrumentalist, composer & improviser. Originally from Chicago, IL, I went on to study at Oberlin College & Conservatory, where studied under Gary Bartz, graduating with degrees in Jazz Saxophone Performance and Cinema Studies in 2022.

Since moving to NYC, I've performed regularly as a saxophonist and as a clarinetist/keyboardist in the alternative folk trio, Early Worm, of which I'm also a founding member. I also work regularly as a session musician with artists such as Califone, appearing on their acclaimed 2023 album, Villagers, as well as the album's follow up, The Villagers Companion (2025).

Along with my composition partner Henry Nelson, I composed original scores for the feature films, Asleep In My Palm (2023), which premiered at the 2023 Woodstock Film Festival, and Bang Bang (2024), which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. The pair are now working on music and sound design for the off-broadway production of And Then We Were No More, written by Tim Blake Nelson, and directed by Mark Wing-Davey, which is set for premiere at La Mama Experimental Theatre Club in the fall of 2025.
