Børre Flyen is a skilled Norwegian drummer known for his dynamic and expressive playing across various genres, particularly in pop, rock and worldmusic. With a strong presence in the Scandinavian music scene, Flyen´s musicality and adaptability have made him a sought-after collaborator among musicians in Norway and beyond.

I’ve spent the last 20 years recording and collaborating, contributing to numerous Norwegian albums. My journey has taken me to the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize Concert, where I’ve had the incredible opportunity to perform live with legends like John Legend, Steven Tyler, Lionel Richie, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer, Melissa Etheridge, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo, Seal, and so many more. I tour across Europe, rocking the stage with top Scandinavian artists, and I’ve got a studio packed with an impressive collection of gear—everything from high-end recording equipment to a treasure trove of percussion instruments. My collection boasts an array of drum kits, cymbals, snares and percussion instruments that bring any project to life!

Vintage drum kits: Gretsch maple (1977), Slingerland Radio King (1958), Asba (1967), Yamaha D-22 (1968), Yamaha YD (1972), Yamaha 9000 (1989), Tama Superstar (1979), Sonor Jungle (1995)
Snares: I´ve got 50+, but the most used are Ludwig Acrolites, Tama Bell Brass, Ludwig Supersensitives, Yamaha Recording alu and of course whatever the song feels like.
