He is also an experienced music transcriber, able to sight read from scores and create transcriptions of any genre of music. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: ive been doinf this for the past 12 years and life is going great, a year ago i started working with royal caribbean and has been going really great so far
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: my style is based on having a nice pocket groove, but also i can be very creative it depends on the producer or artist needs
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: chaka khan, because is an artist with a strong and excellent repertory
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, rock, funk, jazz and Latin
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Groove and sight reading
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Funky bass lines
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually if is only the audio, I listen to the track a few time to be familiarized with what’s in the song, and then start recording most of the time I do two or three takes to be shure that everything is ok if is with a chart is almos immediate that I start recording
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My set up in studio has a Presonus audio box, with a DSM Humboldt bass Pre Amp and amp simulator, studio one artist
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Everything with the name of Nathan east or pino palladino on it
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I usually do is to record basslines in different kinds of genres such as pop, funk, fusion, Latin, jazz, etc
