I'm a Tony Award and ACM nominated singer/songwriter. You've heard my voice and songs on TV shows on the ABC network, Broadway, radio and on collabs with GRAMMY legends like Keb' Mo' and Vince Gill.

Interview with Lauren
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Southern Soul
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: James Taylor, Jonatha Brooke, Eva Cassidy, Lainey Wilson… the list goes on and on!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was hired to sing as Keb' Mo's duet partner for a marketing campaign recently. Keb' Mo' has been a huge musical influence of mine for most of my life. That was an incredible experience! Since then, he's invited me to collaborate more with him. I feel incredibly honored to make music with some of my heroes.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A few new singles for myself, including a collab with two of my favorite singer/songwriters from Nashville!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise high quality, clear communication and on-time delivery.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I get to make music for my job!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always like to know if my clients have a reference track in mind. That helps ensure I understand their vision or direction. When I'm writing lyrics, I often ask, "What's one word or phrase that must be in this song?"
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen to your mixes at low volume to better understand what changes to make.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: It's all over the map, but most people know me for my soulful, bluesy slant on country, pop and singer-songwriter type music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Vocally, I bring emotion and soul so that the song can be felt, not just heard. As a songwriter, I am able to distill the idea down to the main emotion and bring the story to life.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Vocal production/arrangement and toplining
