Fenris Wulf

Mixing, Editing, Re-Amping

Fenris Wulf on SoundBetter

I do whatever it takes to make your music sound great. I use a variety of techniques to transform mediocre sounds into amazing sounds. I can re-amp guitars through my collection of vintage and modern amps, or fix muddy, fuzzy tones even without a DI track. I can clean up almost any drum sound, or do sample replacement using my own custom library.

I have a hybrid digital/analog studio that I use for my own projects. I no longer record bands due to scheduling difficulties, so I decided to offer mixing services. At first, I was reluctant to mix tracks that I didn't record myself, but I developed a variety of techniques to clean up and fix almost any sound.

My mixes stand out from the crowd and sound radically different from what everyone else is doing. I grew up on 80s rock and metal, and I strive for the bigger-than-life sound of that era. I can mix any genre from country to classic rock to death metal, but I don't know much about electronic music or hip-hop.

My preferred DAW is REAPER, but I can also accept ProTools projects.

To develop my skills and show what I can do with other people's tracks, I downloaded multi-track files from URM Academy and other websites. All songs are used with permission of the artist. These mixes are an unofficial version and are not on the actual release.
