Juan De Sedas
Mixing Engineer / Master
Juan is a professional Mixing Engineer and Master based in Toronto, Canada.
At six years of age, Juan De Sedas’ father taught him to play the accordion. He also took both vocal and piano lessons, and spent most of his time in the studio watching his father at work, cultivating his talent for music. Juan would play with his father’s audio equipment at home and at a young age began to take note of the audio engineers’ conversations when his father recorded music. As years went by his knowledge grew stronger and his passion deeper, with great intension of using his knowledge of earlier analog techniques and mixing them into modern digital sound.
As of today, Juan has accomplished great things in his innovative career. Some of the projects he has worked on include the names of many artists: Elvis Crespo, Fito Blanko, Jesse Cook, David Bisbal, Gente de Zona, Jowell, Zeynep Ozbilen and Vita Chambers. Also, Juan has worked with many genres of music like Bachata, Salsa, Reggeton, Pop Rock and World Music. His trained ear and outstanding recognition of key tone has made him a unique individual with an exceptional gift. These diverse characteristics are what make Juan De Sedas a primary piece of any and every musical project.
