  1. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  2. A: What is your intended goal with your musical project?

  3. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  4. A: My current home bass is at Empire Sound Studio in Carrollton TX, 15 minutes from Downtown Dallas. The Studio has a SSL 4048 E/G with VCA Automation and total recall. Great selection of outboard gear ranging from Manley, API, Neve, Pultec, Empirical Labs and more. Great selection of microphones from vintage to modern.

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I started Audio Engineering in 2066

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Creative, artistic, easy going

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: KORN, I have been a huge fan of KORN for decades and a few years ago I had the opportunity to engineer a recording session for them, was one of the coolest moments of my career.

  12. A: Make sure your instrument is in tune.

  14. A: Rock, Alternative, Indie, Singer Songwriter, Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop, Jazz

  16. A: Being able to communicate and work well with others.

  18. A: Its hard to describe a typical work process as everything song and every artist is different. Being organized is very important. Its a great help to be able to hear rough recordings or rehearsals of a project before starting on them at the studio. It helps me understand the purpose of the elements as they were written in their raw environment.
