Ramiro Marziani on SoundBetter

New York City based Session Guitarist, with a Berklee Degree, 3 albums to my name, and years of experience playing live, recording in the Studio, and writing arrangements for artists. I play and record professional Electric, Acoustic and Nylon string guitars, specialized in World Music, Indie Rock, Old Time Jazz, and Latin American/Flamenco styles.

I record Electric, Acoustic and Nylon/Classical Guitars in a multitude of genres, for Singles, Albums, or Commercial/Film Music. Guitar orchestration and doubled tracks. My specialty is the variety of styles I can provide tracks for at a high and authentic level, in a short amount of time. These include Jazz (Swing, Gypsy, Fusion), Funk, Rock (Riffs, Solos, Parts), Americana, Country, Latin American Folk, Afro Cuban, and Flamenco/Spanish Guitars.

I love working on new projects and I am very adaptable to your needs, requests and sensitive to your vision and expectations. I will record guitars that have you already written with a well produced sound. I will also create and orchestrate the guitar parts for your song if you are unsure what to do! Please allow me to take work off your hands, and get a great result back. Let's work together!

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Ramiro is a great musician and an even better person. He plays from his heart and always improves any group that he is a part of. By both his guitar playing and positive, lighthearted attitude. I highly recommend him for all your guitaring needs!

I've worked with Ramiro on several projects for many years. On top of his professional and versitile guitar playing, He's gifted in the way collaborates and communicates, which makes working with him always a pleasurable and artistic experience.

Interview with Ramiro Marziani

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: Indie Rock. Latin American and Spanish music. Gypsy Jazz. Hard Rock. Blues.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: Passion, commitment, and a deep understanding of what my guitar parts do for a song, and how they fit in the general mix. I get joy from creating the right guitar section, and I am very sensitive to sound and arrangement. It's always about the song, not the guitars.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I have a home studio setup, where I record all my guitars. I record my acoustics with Top notch AKG mics and interface. I record electric guitars by micing my Fender Tube amp and using my pedalboard. I also often use the best digital amplification software for electric guitars. I do post production to all my sounds and tones before I send tracks for mixing and mastering.

  7. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  8. A: I record Electric, Acoustic and Nylon String guitars for my clients. The artists and organizations I work with are very varied, and I often find myself recording all sorts of guitars for Video Games, Single releases, Albums. Usually I am given a basic chord chart where I create and arrange all guitars for a track. Other times, particularly with commercial or film music, I am given a more specific score to interpret. The most recent project I was involved in, I recorded 7 tracks for a Gypsy Jazz Tune. 2 acoustic tracks (doubled), 2 electric Rockabilly style lead track, and an Ukulele track.
