Interview with Black Steve
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: An artist had asked for an r and b chorus and hook, while he wrote his verses. The hooks and chorus dictated the artist’s flow and vision. The tune then got remixed by two Atlanta based rappers
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A few grime projects with a london based artist Hip Hop project with an Atlanta based rapper

A: Not as of yet

A: Digital. Just got used to it

A: We will Get it done

A: The variety and different artists I get to work with.

A: Q: How come you don’t want to pursue a career as an artist? A: I have never had an interest in being in the spotlight, even though I have done. My idea of a good life is being able to make money in the background for people that want to make money in the spotlight.

A: Not exactly sure what that means

A: Take the gamble. I genuinely reckon there’s one hit song somewhere in my mind.

A: The ability to switch up the flows and style

A: I bring it all together. I have a really good understanding of music in general. Where to hit the pockets, where to get the hooks and bridges in. Varieties of flows to suit any and every genre
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Multiple ways. Ultimately we work to make sure the client is happy with the overall setup first. This is your vision, i’m the one to help put it all together with you. Let me know your ideas, topics etc. Send over the beat I can record and send over some rough ideas of flows, patterns lyrics etc. if you’re happy with the sound and idea, then I can get onto the songwriting. I’ll re record a full version for you to then work with
