Christian F. Gangeri on SoundBetter

I'm Christian, session drummer with the experience developed on playing and record Rock,Hip Hop,Pop,Folk, Punk,Country and Jazz, bringing out that vibe and the best sound possible. Check out some of my drum works : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLowBatX2YDPqXDAKzz0-7xzSaGccXvxgT&si=bJry98OGXGL-r7gT

I will glad to help on your music, and for doing that just send your track (Wav or mp3) with all the notes, BPM, references song and anything I need to know before I start to work, so I'll suited the best drum sound and mics placement (I record at 48Hz/24bit).
I'll record drums on my own Home Recording Studio, check my Setup in "Gear Highlights"!

You can choose if I send you a single mixed drum track or the drum stems (up to 10). Included a reference track of the whole song as well.

I'm also available for EP and Albums, and I'll offer a discount pricing (It would be good to have all the songs send at once); and creating some drum loops (contact me if you need more than one drum loop or for creating a sample pack).

Hit me up! Let's get started!
Your satisfaction is my best prize!!!

You can send me an email through 'Contact' button above, so we can discuss your project in detail.

Interview with Christian F. Gangeri

  1. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  2. A: I always try to bring the most appropriate groove that carries the track and the rest of the instruments.

  3. Q: What's your typical work process?

  4. A: The process starts by listening the track, start thinking about what type if drum sound needs, based sometimes on the clients information or understanding the song and giving a musical context and the appropriate style. Then I choose the proper drum patterns (if there is already, trying to improve it a bit), which mics I'll use and the best position to put it, based on the sound that I want to achieve. Once I’m all set up and soundchecked, with all the notes and the songs structure I start learning and working around the kit. When I'm ready to go, I give it a first take and send em to my client and discuss about. Then, if there are any revisions, I make the necessary changes. Once are all have been approved by the client, then either deliver them as raw tracks or mix them as requested by the client.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I have an isolated home studio, away from the centre city. Right now I'm using an Soundcraft 400 console, and with some help of various plugins that can help to shape the sounds. Two different Italian handcrafted Drum kit, which are always suitable for any type of style needed.

  7. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  8. A: Mostly every drummer and producer who elevate the songs, making something that sounds interesting and smooth.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: The main work is recording drums for artists. Some percussions as well if asked.
