His background also includes experience as an audio engineering instructor and mentor.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid. There are many advantages to both, so why not combine the two...
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will work with you until we are both satisfied that the job is completed properly.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to work in a field that I am genuinely passionate about. I love helping recording artist develop a sound that they are proud of.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can I get a discounted or free mix? The answer is no. If you want a cheap mix, you are running the risk of not getting the results that you are looking for.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: A common misconception is that you can learn to mix or produce from a YouTube tutorial. It takes learning from professionals in studio environments, years of experience, along with trial and error before you start to develop your sound as a producer or mixer.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are some artists or mixes that you like to reference for production and mixing? What is your turnaround time? What is your preferred payment method?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please have your session files and rough mix organized in 1 folder/zip file before sending. Also, do not commit autotune on your vocal stems.

A: I have been in the audio production field for 20 years. I began as a studio intern and assistant, and slowly gained experience throughout my time in the music industry.

A: I prefer to work with artists that have a professional work ethic.

A: Start by studying and analyzing well-written songs that are produced and arranged in a captivating manner. What are the common sonic qualities based on the genre? How are they arranged? Then begin to emulate those qualities in your own unique way.
