Film Scoring, Arranging

Ingrid Schyborger is a 24 years old film-scorer, bass player and composer living in New York. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, she grew up in a small neighbourhood outside the city with a house full of musical instruments. She started with the piano at age of 4 and at the age of 9 she began playing classical cello and electric bass as well.

Ingrid picked up the double bass at the age of 17 and quickly fell in love with the instrument.
After studying jazz in high school, she went on to doing her undergraduate at The Royal
College of Music (KMH) in Stockholm, and later on her Masters Degree at The Manhattan
School of Music in New York, where she studied orchestral and big band writing with Darcy James Argue.
Ingrid has played with many prominent musicians in Europe,
Sweden, in the US and in Kenya.

She recently recorded her debut album, which will be released in the year of 2024,
containing a jazz quartet combined with a string quartet, a project she has been working on
for the past 2,5 years.

Ingrid recently did an animated score for the ScoreLive Competition 2024 with the movie "Wingit".
Right now, she is already starting on her next coming album, and quickly making her
way into becoming recognised both as a film composer and a musician.
