Remote Mixing Engineer

Luke McConnell on SoundBetter

Affordable remote mixing engineer with 5+ years experience in the music industry and a detailed natural ear for music. Have worked in many different level studios across the UK as an engineer & artist including, Rockfield Wales, Edge Studios Manchester, The Lounge Wigan and Goyt Mill Marple.

I am a remote mixing engineer with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Popular Music Production (Huddersfield University) and over 5 years of experience in the industry.

I have a natural ear and passion for mixing music across multiple genres and I have already received numerous credits and valuable experience from my short time in the industry. This includes mixing on former Paul Weller producer, Simon Dine's Noonday Underground compilation album, which demanded pressure from a variety of different artists at once to achieving an end goal. This included collaborations from artists such as Abi Harding (The Zutons), Afrika Baby Bam of The Jungle Brothers, Francis Reader of Trash Can Sinatras and Carmy Love.

My involvement in up and coming UK band ROLLA has brought me to different studio environments including Rockfield Wales with in house producer Nick Brine (Oasis & Stone Roses Engineer) and Edge Studios Manchester with John Delf (Louis Tomlinson live sound engineer). This means I have an insight into the perspective of the artist/client giving me a completely transparent mindset.

The remote essence of my work also gives each artist a complete fresh set of ears whilst still being able to capture what the artist is looking for to obtain a focused and efficient end product.
