I'm a female engineer dedicated to making quality recordings with top-of-the-line gear and facilitating an environment where you can feel comfortable to experiment and create your best work.
My interest in audio goes back to about 2018 when I recorded my first EP in my parent's basement and fell in love with the process. This led me to get my Music Recording and Music Business degree at Columbia College Chicago, where I was taught under phenomenal professors. While in college, I began working at Rax Trax Recording, where I deepened my understanding and love of recording, and started to engineer my own sessions.
I believe the first step in creating a fantastic song is creating a fantastic recording and a comfortable environment to work in. I use great-sounding equipment to make recordings that capture an artist's energy and performance as if they were live. On top of that, I will do anything in my power to make an artist at home in the studio, because if you're not comfortable in the environment you're recording in, you're not making your best work. I'm most experienced working with folk, pop, rock, R&B, and singer-songwriters but I'm open to working with any genre.
I'm looking forward to working with you!
