Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: It's two alternate concepts. I love both. Analog synths offer a connection when you play, like a living-breathing creature. On the other hand, Digital synthesizers can offer near-endless capabilities and such micro-manipulation to create anything you desire. The workflow with digital equipment can allow a direct path to what you desire, yet the journey you take with analogue devices can often lead you to results you didn't expect or would have discovered without them.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Contemporary inspirations include KSHMR, Kygo and Alan Walker. KSHMR is perhaps my biggest influence and modern-day inspiration regarding his complete work ethic and ability to be so transparent in his knowledge and production techniques. Historically, I have taken inspiration heavily from the works of Jean-Michel Jarre and Michael Cretu (Enigma), and view them personally as pioneers in modern-day melody and audio design.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically I take on Audio engineering responsibilities, finishing clients' Mixing stages and final Master stages. I can also work with clients in producing tracks' melodies, progressions and other creative process.
