BIO
I'm a 2023 Pattonville High School graduate from St. Louis, Missouri, and I currently go to college at SIUE. I've had many teachers, but I study under Garrett Schmidt (trumpet and big band), Jason Swagler (combo), and Miles Vandiver (recording techniques) while at school. I have been a part of the Jazz, Orchestra, and Classical departments along with musicals such as Gypsy, The Wizard Of Oz, and The Little Mermaid.
MUSIC
I excel in various genres, having earned multiple state-level awards as a soloist and lead trumpet player. I performed in the world premiere of the St. Louis Big Band Contingent led by Dave Weckl at 17 years old and was named "National Band Student of the Year" by the time I was 18. The incredible versatility of jazz is a key factor in my ability to succeed in various musical contexts.
PRODUCTION
I enjoy immersing myself in and crafting on a broad spectrum, which has provided me a comprehensive understanding of the distinct sonic qualities on each track, no matter what genre. I believe this is what has given me the ability to identify areas that require improvement and implement the necessary modifications to achieve optimal results.
