I excel in various Jazz genres, having earned multiple state-level awards as a soloist and lead trumpet player. I performed in the world premiere of the ST. Louis Big Band Contingent led by Dave Weckl at 17 years old and was named "National Band Student of the Year" by the time I was 18. The incredible versatility of jazz is a key factor in my ability to succeed in a variety of musical contexts.
I take pleasure in both immersing myself in and crafting a spectrum of musical styles. This involvement has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the distinct sonic qualities of each track, and the ability to identify areas that require improvement and implement the necessary modifications to achieve optimal results.
