I'm a UK-based jazz-pop singer, pianist and accordionist. Three solo albums, millions of streams, and session work that's ranged from Warner Records to the BBC's Peaky Blinders.
What I do:
• Vocals: jazz, pop, traditional pop, blues, soul and folk. Clear, warm delivery, fully comped.
•Acoustic piano and keys: recorded live on a regularly tuned upright, plus Rhodes and other MIDI keys.
•Accordion: Italian accordion for Parisian musette, gypsy jazz, tango, cinematic beds and folk-pop.
• Songwriting & composing
The Recording Studio:
I have a home recording studio that is fully soundproofed and acoustically treated by GIK Acoustics. Neumann U87 on vocals, matched pair of AKG C414s on the upright. Universal Audio Apollo 8xp, Neve preamp, AudioScape opto compressor. Logic Pro X.
What you get back:
Dry WAV stems at 24-bit/48kHz or higher, fully comped and ready for your mix. Usual turnaround is 2 days, sometimes I can deliver the same day. Send me a rough mix, the key and tempo, and a reference if you have one. Happy to do a short free sample so you can hear it before you commit.
Session work is delivered and credited as Andrew Burton. The samples below are my own releases under my artist name, Jonny Kerry.
