Matias Jascalevich on SoundBetter

Cellist, arranger and composer specialized in Tango, argentinian Folk and contemporary-experimental music. Graduated from the G. Verdi conservatory in Milan, A. Piazzolla in Buenos Aires. Specialized in Argentine music at the University of San Martin with extensive professional experience in popular, academic and contemporary music.

I will record my instrument, compose or write arrangements according to your ideas and needs.

With academic and popular training I can work on your music, on request, based on a proposal or autonomously as necessary. I can write for orchestra, chamber ensembles or the group that is required as well as record my instrument in solo format, as a line to add to pre-existing material or produce a recording session calling for musicians on request. I have carried out studies, courses and master classes with several of the greatest exponents of my instrument (E. Dindo, M Bernardin, S. Todorov, M. Brunello, W. Kuchen, W. Butt, C. Walewska, etc.) as well as composition, arrangements and interpretation of Argentine music with its most important references (J. Falu, R. Gallo, A. Pilar, L. Baum, etc.).
I have made international tours, made a large number of recordings and some of my works have been premiered at the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires.

Home Studio: Audio‑Technica AT2035 microphone, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, Pro Tools, and a dedicated 3m x 4m acoustically treated studio. This setup allows high‑quality mono cello recording with professional mic placement, precise editing, and clean premix delivery.
