Media Composer

Media composer with an eclectic portfolio of work for short films, documentaries, video games and more. I have recently completed an MA in Composition for Film and TV at the University of Bristol, result pending. My portfolio continuously is expanding through collaboration with exciting up-and-coming creatives.

I am a media composer, orchestrator, music educator and conductor based in West Sussex, England. I studied music at Durham University, graduating in 2022, then undertook an MA in Composing for Film and TV at the University of Bristol, where I was taught by esteemed composers including Tess Tyler, William Goodchild and John Pickard

I have built up an eclectic portfolio of scores for visual media, featuring music for short films, documentaries, animations and video games. My music encompasses various styles and genres, from intimate romance and ambient soundscape to riveting action and plucky comedy. My ability to deftly control acoustic and synthetic timbres facilitates the generation of unique and exciting sonorities. In all my music, I seek to tell stories, take my audience on a consequential narrative journey, and say something meaningful.

I am currently working on scores for a nature documentary and comedy short film, and am available for more scoring opportunities.

As well as media scores, I am an accomplished concert composer, writing music in the classical and avant-garde traditions. Many are based on stories or ideas close to my experiences and perceptions.

As an orchestrator and arranger, I have been engaged to produce arrangements for several ensembles, including West Sussex Youth Orchestra, Slinfold Concert Band and Durham University Brass Brass Band.
