Interview with Jürgen Joherl
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm glad & thankful to could have worked and gigged for a while with the "JJC Helder Band" from Amsterdam. A project around female singer & saxofonist Marlies Helder with a.o. guitarist Joop van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65/Livin' Blues) and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox/Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock Music legacy.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Still busy with finishing, re-editing & mastering all latest tunes for my overdue upfollowing album project "Moving On"...to be continued!😊

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Bossa 5-string fretless, my Markbass combo, a good laptop with mobile interface + WiFi and decent Headphones 😉
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing bass seriously in 1972 and decided in 2003 to also focus on writing, arranging, recording & finally also producing own original instrumental music...

A: Passionate☺️

A: Oh well, there are really great musicians and producers out there..seems I'm undecided in that?🤷

A: Careful listening, experimenting & learning..

A: My own original Instrumentals :-)

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Lately I moved into a new hood and I'm still busy with setting up a better home studio, updating/replacing gear and installing prof. acoustic room treatments, etc..therefore I might not be always available for remote sessions/recordings!🤷🙏
