Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Ultimately I don't think it matters that much! The differences are so minute that any normal listener won't be able to tell. Super cool sounds are achievable with both, and I think it matters more what you do with the gear. Rather how the gear functions.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: My first question is; what are you trying to get out of this project? That can often set my direction very effectively. The second thing I ask for is reference tracks. They are extremely helpful when trying to understand the sound someone is trying to achieve. After that, it is mostly creative questions surrounding the project.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My work process starts with some ear warm ups using Audiophile and/or reference tracks. Then I will work on whatever task is at hand until I notice some ear fatigue, or come to a creative stopping point. Both of which I find to be good indicators of when to take a break and reset for the next session.
