Whether you're looking for smooth, airy vocals, heartfelt songwriting, or catchy hooks for your project, I will deliver. I offer a unique vocal texture and a natural feel for melody and lyric flow. I’m dedicated to delivering high-quality, polished recordings.
Heyyy, I'm Lixine. I sing, write and I am a multi-instrumentalist.
For the saxophone or the flute, I parts already composed by you (by ear or with sheet music) or improvise my own riffs or solo, fitting to the track's genre and vibe. Be it Pop, Soul, Jazz etc.
I provide a quick turnaround with pro recording equipment from an acoustically-treated studio.
I have performed in Jazz festivals, both playing the sax and singing.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on my second album.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Mark Evich, for quality productions.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I'd say a little bit of both. Analog for songwriting and inspiration and digital because I love a crisp recording.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I have a questionnaire I give the client which allows me to understand exactly what their vision is so that I can offer a great service.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take my acoustic guitar, a solar powered recording device, my notebook and pencil, and my sax.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I played the saxophone professionally for a few years, then transitioned into songwriting and singing. I have been doing this for about 7 years now.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on House, Neo-soul and Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is melodies.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: More often than not, I get inspired by one word. Then get keywords around it and proceed to flesh it out into a full song. Then for melodies, I let the chord progressions guide my ear and sing what I hear in my head.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Lianne LA Havas, UMI, FKJ
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As a session musician, I mostly add vocals and the saxophone. I also do songwriting gigs.
