Sean McLaughlin is an award-winning producer/mixer who has worked with a number of artists, both major and indie throughout the US. To quote a recent client: "If you want to make the best record of your life, go to Sean!"
After working in Los Angeles for the early part of the decade with some notable producers (Andy Johns, Jimbo Barton, Carmen Rizzo) and artists (Rush, Elliott Smith, Marilyn Manson, Death Row Records), Sean McLauglin started 37’ Productions as a means for musicians to achieve high quality, label-ready recordings routinely unavailable to unsigned artists.
McLaughlin moved back to his hometown of Boston in 2004, collecting a vast array of gear along the way. In 2006, McLaughlin purchased a Pro Tools HD|3 rig and moved 37’ to the town of Rockland. The location houses all the aforementioned gear (Neve, API, Neumann, Soundelux, Chandler, Universal Audio and many others) as well as a large recording space, extensive list of available studio musicians and a prodigious amp and pedal collection that would make any gear enthusiast smile. In 2013, 2018 and 2019, Sean had the honor of being named Producer of the Year by the New England Music Awards. In 2019, Sean became the first to win Producer of the Year for both the Boston Music Awards and New England Music Awards in the same year. Sean also teaching in the Music Production & Engineering department at Berklee College of Music.

Endorse Sean McLaulghlinI've worked with Sean on several projects including my EP. Aside from being an all around amazing person, he was an incredible producer, engineer and mixer. If you are looking for somebody to trust, that's Sean. As a vocalist and songwriter, I look for somebody that will make me feel completely comfortable because creating is a very vulnerable process. Sean will definitely be that for you! He's also very patient, detail oriented and super RELIABLE which is sadly something hard to find sometimes. Highly recommend!
