Classically trained cellist gone rogue, experimental, amplified, distortion heavy, long washed out reverbs, etc. Performed with various groups - rock, jazz, improv, chamber groups, etc for the last 22+ years. Notably: Yann Tiersen (performed with at La Route du Rock 2010), Godspeed You! Black Emperor (opening act/closer several times), Adam Rudolph's Go! Organic! Improv Jazz Orchestra, SXSW festival yearly 2009-2023 (excepting covid years).

I can record acoustic or add effects pedals interchangeably for the same price. If you have a specific vision of what you'd like to hear, I'm all for it, or if you really just don't know, I'm happy to fill in with what -I- hear.

Particular things I do that not many other cellists specialize in:
-Lush reverb pads
-Layered, heavy distortion
-Octave synthesis
-Massive "walls of sound" if you want it weird
-Improv and write well to singer songwriter vocals
-Stay out of the way to support the song!
