Hi, I'm Zeyn, an enthusiastic and mixing engineer focusing on Rock/Blues/Jazz among other things. I pride myself on my communication skills and doing my best to bring the artists vision to life.
My process always starts with trying to clearly understand the needs of the client. Beyond that, I love using my personal tastes and experiences to add life and love to every mix. I operate mainly out of two studios, one is a hybrid powerhouse centered around an impressive Pro Tools HD system and the other is an analogue gear heaven with several racks worth of well loved equipment. I feel that this gives me optimal flexibility in finding the best suited and most unique sound for every client.

Have worked with Zeyn before and currently in the process of starting a new project with him. Great engineer with a great work ethic!
Zeyn was very quick and efficient in setting up his equipment before my live gig EP, and showed real care in asking me and the other musicians what kind of sound we were going for. A very versatile sound engineer and musician, id highly recommend him to anyone looking to record studio/live!
Have worked with Zeyn for a few mixes/recordings. Efficient at setting up all needs for studio and mixing sessions, does not waste any time.
Professional and great to work with, will certainly want to take him on for another project.
Zeyn was so professional and did a great job mixing my EP. Will defintely be using him again for my next project :)
Interview with Zeyn Mroueh
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Mixing a live EP for The Stefan Melovski Quartet, that I recorded on location in London, to be released just before the summer.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid. I think it's important to acknowledge the positives of both and be able to use them to your advantage.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To be fully communicative and to give 100%
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Talk to potential engineers, try and understand their process and how that might work for you.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: No way I could narrow it down.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm relatively laid back, I like to work with musicians that have a vision.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As a producer, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. As an engineer, anyone from Hotel2Tango.
