Music Production and Mixing

I've worked in studios for the better part of 25 years, honing my craft working with artists like Built to Spill, Blonde Redhead, and members of the Deftones. I've been an artist, and a studio owner, and now my focus now is on production, mixing, and arranging -- but if you need a little help with guitars, bass, bv's or percussion then I got you.

My happy place is a music studio, and it's truly a privilege to be able to help people realize their visions and inspirations. Seriously, what's better than making records? I believe that when everyone involved in a project can have that kind of enthusiasm, the result will be good. These projects are special, and vital to everyone involved in making them. It's with this spirit of respect and joy that I try to use the talents and experience that I've developed over the past 20ish years to make each track as good as it can be.

I started learning in the twilight of the analog era and the dawn of the digital era. I now realize what a tremendous gift that is. After years of working hybrid, I'm mixing fully in the box now, and have no reservations about the sound quality of the modern music production tech.

For new clients, I can offer an initial mix for a heavily reduced rate to make sure we're a good fit. I only want to work on projects that are good for all of us!
