I'm a songwriter, music producer, hip-hop artist, and vocalist from Alaska. Not the best place for getting off the ground but it's home. I've had the honor of running live sound for such artists as Boaz, Kurtis Blow, Wale, Mac Miller, MURS, Pete Rock to name of few. Produced unreleased/uncredited songs for : Awax, Gorilla Zoe, SILK, Mack Dre.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Just get the idea out. You can always go back and polish things or change instruments or re-sing it.

A: My Love You. A song mixed by Dexter Simmons. Beautiful piece.

A: IDK. Whatever is in front of me.

A: You'll get my best.

A: Music
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I can turn a terd into gold. I can polish it and decorate it but it's still a terd. I can only do my best to make it funkier.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Where can I hear your music at? What do you sound like? What do you hate the most about working with producers or songwriters?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't be too analytical. Music shouldn't feel or sound like a job. It should feel and sound like love.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Mic, Pre-amp, Speakers, Mac and Logic Pro X
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Trumpet from 6th grade to 11th. Music production from 13 to however old I am now. Mix engineering and live sound when I'm not producing.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Funk, Jazzy, Hip Hop, Alternative Pop, and just Alaskanish.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Andre3000 because he's experimental and just creative. He thinks outside of the box.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Rap, R&B, Ambient, Dance
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Just being myself. A bit of a character and I'm a human instrument.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A unique sound. Interesting colors and contrasts. Style
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends on how I'm feeling. I tend to move around so I don't get writer's block.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's basic. A lot of plugins though. I use Logic Pro X. It allows me to be creative really fast.
