Music producer, Sound designer.
Hi,
My name is Hugo and I'm a producer, songwriter and sound-designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. My work is all about exploring new sounds and rhythms that will create songs with originality and movement. My songs most often end up as pop/RnB but I also love combining different genres.
I offer unique and cool sound design and clever productions to your songwriting! I'm mainly self-taught and have been making music since 2016. The last two years I've spent much time creating organic drum samples which would absolutely shine in any production.
I'd love to hear from you!

Interview with Hugo Abramsson
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Two tracks for myself and my co-writer.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I haven't really decided what I like the most and I feel like it depends on what the track needs. For an instrument the analog sound on its own stands out and often creates more groove. When mixing, on the other hand, I'm always using digital UAD plugins such as the LA2a and the pultec which to me sounds awesome.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Awesome sounding music.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creativity!!!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: "Less is more"
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: SoundDesign
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Drums, synths, rhythms...
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run Cubase 11 on an Imac. My Audio interface is an Apollo twin which is connected to a pair of presonus eris 4.5 monitors and to my DT 770 pro headphones. When it comes to the fun stuff I have my Moog Grandmother, an old ephiphone guitar and my Roland FP30x. Vocals and acoustic guitar is recorded with my shure sm7b. As I'm more into making music in the box I have a wide collection of soft-synths and plugins, with my favorite being the Arturia Pigments. My second favorite vst is the XO by XLN which is truly amazing in searching for the perfect sounds.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Jacob collier, Ian Kirkpatrick, Mark Ronson etc.
