Kato has performed on some of the biggest stages around the world including the 2021 Latin Grammy’s in Vegas, where his work as the producer and guitarist of Luedji Luna's sophomore album, 'Bom mesmo é estar debaixo d’agua' was nominated for a Latin Grammy. He was lead guitarist and band leader in African projects; Tusker Project Fame and 5 seasons of Coke Studio Africa. During this time Kato played and recorded for Salif Keita, Seun Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Neyo, Trey Songz, Yemi Alade, Jason Derulo and Burna boy among others.
