Sergio Chammah on SoundBetter

Top Latin Music Productios in a matter of days! Plus I am a Ghost Producer! Let's talk! BH

BH
Hola!! I'm Sergio Chammah, a Master of Sounds and a total music lover!
I'm super passionate about crafting those lush, evocative soundscapes you hear, especially when we're blending indie pop with the vibrant energy of Latin music and the warm, nostalgic feel of vintage sounds. Think of it like this: my musical heart beats to the rhythm of Andrés Calamaro's deep lyrics, the catchy vibes of Coti and Maná, and the timeless romance of Trio Los Panchos. These artists? They're a huge part of what inspires me to make music that really connects.

I truly believe in the power of a great song, and I adore those 'sung poems' we call boleros. That's why I love working with artists on SoundBetter. It's all about collaborating, from that first spark of an idea to the final, polished mix, making sure your unique vision shines. My goal? To help you create music that people feel, music that captures the soul of Latin and vintage sounds while keeping things fresh and modern. I offer top-notch audio production services right here on SoundBetter.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Sergio has always delivered the right arrangement, even to some songs where others have failed to come up with an arrangement, he is a great producer an an instrumentalist.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a grammy award for his productions.
    I highly recommend him.

Interview with Sergio Chammah

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I am very proud of In Betwin. I did everything on the songs. Apart from singing, I did it all

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Several projects at the same time.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Yes. Vicky Chammah. She is a singer. She is one of my daughters. She has a great voice. Very ease to work with her and her tone of voice.

  7. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  8. A: How long does it take for you to finish the song? My answer: I can finish the song in a day. But if needed, it can take as long as the client needs for the song to be what they want. The clock is not ticking on my side

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: They think I am just a producer. I can do it all from songwriting to mastering.

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Be clear and know what you want. As long as I know what you want, I will do it.

  13. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  14. A: Both. You can not choose or separate one from the other. We need both. But if I had to choose it would be analog. It is more real

  15. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  16. A: Know you will get what you want. No matter how many revisions it takes. I can start everything again for the same price. I will take care of your ideas and your song.

  18. A: Working with people. Whether it is remotely or in the studio.

  19. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  22. A: A guitar. A computer. An audio interface. A micropohone and a good pair of headphones.

  24. A: I have been doing this for 15 years plus

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is very wide. But I can define it by saying I tend to the classical and vintage style. (Always looking for the balance with new sounds)

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: John Mayer. I think he is a great musician and think we could both learn a lot from each other.

  30. A: Be persistent and trust your ear

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I work a lot with Latin productions, Worship songs both in English and Spanish, Indie Pop and Rock songs. But did it all. I just finished a Country Song production for Texas, USA.

  36. A: Everything the artists or client needs. I can do it all.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I tend to start by the beggining. The melody and chord progression. The most important element here is RHYTHM. Then I record the main guitar or piano, add the the rhythm sectiona and slowly adding the different instruments the song needs.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I am a vintage fanatic, I try to use the most out of the box elements as possible. I love using the Vintage Shure SR101 Audio Console. We can get more into detail in a call!

  42. A: Nile Rodgers as regards to Guitar Rhytmics. As regards of way of working Rick Rubin and George Martin. But hey I am constantly inspired by different musicians and up and coming artists.
